Children program HEJ SIKELEJ!

Lisa has a lot of letter-friends all over the world that she writes to. Hers grandfather enjoys with staying at home and making clean at his house, but he couldn’t resist to have fun with the children songs from Latin-America, Taiwan, Nigeria, Turkey and Denmark.

Susanne Lind and Marco Rios show us a performance för children with music, dance, movements and songs. The songs are taken from the book ‘Sikelej sa kamelen’ (RFoD) that includes songs from all the world. The most of songs sings in Swedish.
CHILDREN WORLDMUSIC

In this performance for children, Susanne and Marco present a mixture of songs from Sweden,Latin-America, other places in the world and even own songs. It’s a lot of music, rythms, dance …and the auditorium participate active in the performance.






FRÖKEN FRÄKEN meets LA PALOMA
Hej Sikelej!

The music shall builds with joy, is the message of this program when Fröken Fräken (a very known Swedish song) meet La Paloma (a very famous Latin-American song) and show the big musical link between Sweden and Latin-America during many years. Marco Rios and Susanne Lind shall invite you this sensation when they sing in spanish, swedish and Portuguese under the sounds of voices, violin, guitar and drum. Let us enjoy together the latin boleros, samba, guajira, the Swedish hambo and other rythms from now and yesterday. This program is for adult audience, festivals, parties and other.

 
CLINICS AND WORKSHOPS

Susanne Lind and Marco Rios lead clinics and workshops with songs, dance, rythms and jokes for persons who work with children, at schools, kindergarden and other institutions. Susanne has a long experience leading groups with dance, songs and movements. Marco take hand of the percussion part with maracas, bongos, tambourine, drums and other and shows how to use it/them into the Swedish and international children songs. Marco works with his book ‘Sambalele’ (Gehrmans musiförlag), latin-american songs in Spanish and Swedish.

Susanne Lind is a violinist and singer. She studied swedish traditional music, rythm and pedagogic, she works as professional musician an leader since 1995, she has done more than 1000 performance for children. Marco Rios is a singer, guitar player and percusionist. He became a known name with a serie of 9 programs ‘Hej amigo’ at the Swedish national TV Björnes magasin , radio P3 and the album with translations into Spanish of the known Swedish songwriter Björn Afzelius. Marco has edited 5 CD albums.
