marco “Värmlatino” What is it? This program is a mix of two temperaments, the Latinamerican and the Swedish from Värmland, meet in a lovely and warm hugg. How to explain e.g. salsa, samba or cumbia singing in Swedish? Or when the Swedish songwriter Björn Afzelius songs sings into Spanish.

Marco Rios is a well known name for the latinmusic lovers in Sweden. He is always travelling around all Sweden playing and enjoying people in all the ages with his tropical sounding rhytms and his kind smile. In this music program you have the chance to enjoy of Marco’s own music, Latinamerican music in Spanish, Portuguese and Swedish, and some songs from Marcos records.


If you want to dance, choice Marco Rios “GeLatina Band” that offer a variation of music styles in cha, cha, chá, salsa, cumbia, merengue, samba etc.

Marco participates as guest with the Trio “3 Gringos” Marco Rios, the bolivian guitar player Caleb Sainz and the Chilean singer Ildefonso Acevedo. They perform preferently Mexican music with voices and guitars, but even other traditional music includes in the repertoire.

Marco has played i Sweden with Örebro Big Band, Magnus Ludwigssons band, Omnibus kammarorkestern from Musik i Uppland, Östgötabandet, Bodens blåskvintett, Tin Marin from Länsmusiken i Jämtland, and other.
 

School visits into Spanish?
Yes! Marco makes school visits to students learning Spanish, he speaks and sings only Spanish with/to the children or young people into the level that they can. Practical learning.
